Above - A male pintail duck cruises in almost still water and catches warmth from the early morning sun.

Above - Northern shoveler  splashes off into the air.

Above -Two buffleheads ducks bob on the water. The splash on the far right shows where a bufflehead had been a few seconds earlier before it dived underwater.

Above - American coot nibbles on underwater weeds.
